Delingpole on the carbon tax

"What's that you say, Skip? They've all topped themselves?"

James kindly linked to my post on Ian Chubb’s nonsensical utterances (see here), and his piece is well worth a read, as always:

Australia commits suicide

One of the worst aspects of living in these apocalyptic times is that whenever you look around the world, wondering where you might escape to, you begin to realise that everywhere else is just as bad if not worse.

Take Australia, an island built on fossil fuel with an economy dependent on fossil fuel. What would be the maddest economic policy a place like that could pursue as the world tips deeper into recession? Why, to introduce a carbon tax, of course. Which, for reasons just explained above, means a tax on absobloodylutely everything. Which is exactly what Julia Gillard’s Coalition (why is it that word always makes me want to reach for my Browning?) has just gone and done, obviously.

Read it all.

  1. she may have ‘gone ahead and done it’ but you dont have to accept it nor live by it, she is of a dying breed, she is of the ‘oil’ era
were moving into a new era, one where we KNOW the laws of the land, and we know that what shes done carries no authority unless we accept it as having authority.
it is legislation, it is therefore a statute, blacks law dictionary defines a statute as ‘a legislative rule of a society, only given the force of law by consent of the governed’ check it, its there. in itself that sentence is evidence that a ‘legislative rule’ and a ‘law’ are not one and the same thing.
it also states that it ONLY carries the force of law by consent….this is not a majority consent, it is individual consent
simply put, whatever she has done only carries the force of law if you consent. whatever piece of paper she has put into play is NOT a law…..because a law carries the force of law whether you consent or not.
they come into play when someone steels something or injures or kills someone, in effect the law states loss harm or injury.
you DO have the right under common law to withold your consent when you have caused nobody either loss harm or injury.
turn your backs on the muppets on stage at your parliament building, their plot line has grown old because people have seen through it, they are fakes, actors and their show is about to be taken off air.
for more see robert arthur menard or john harris ‘its an illusion’ on youtube….or check out the british constitution group on the web…..britains constitution (yes there is one) forms the basis of all the commonwealth countries constitutions, those constitutions are based upon the common law of the land, those laws apply to australia, and this ‘legislation’ she has ‘imposed’ breaks that law and is therefore a crime.
these guys ive listed know what they are talking about, if you want to take your fight to the next level then check those guys out.
in peace and with no ill will towards anyone.

My favourite is this one, which is also the one that James featured:

“With respect to this cooling stuff, I have seen the claim, but the evidence that I have seen is that the last decade has been the warmest decade that we have ever had on this planet, so I do not know what this cooling stuff means.” [Chubb]

Either our ‘Chief Scientist’ is scientifically and historically illiterate or pretending to be:

    1) First he falsely claims that the earth has never been warmer, when it has even been hotter in the last couple of millennia, let alone during prehistoric epochs.

    2) In saying it can’t be cooling, because this has been the hottest decade, the ‘scientist’ seems ignorant (willfully or otherwise) of the difference between temperature and temperature gradient. Peaks periods have positive gradients on one side and negative gradients on the other. That’s normal. But this high school, ‘stuff’ (which should be intuitive) is apparently mysterious to Ian Chubb, our Chief Scientist.

    3) His very dialogue, “. . . warmest decade . . . so I do not know what this cooling stuff means.” makes him sound like he done his learnin’ in Deliverance country.

How much is this guy paid?

  3. Relax guys. Now that a carbon ‘dioxide’ tax is inevitable there are some positives to come out of it all.

Just think … no more droughts, no more floods, no more killer cyclones, no more air pollution, new green technologies, full dams, water a-plenty for all, snow by the bucket load, falling ocean levels, less deaths, extended life expectancy, more money for everyone, more green jobs for everyone, no more wars, stronger green economies, crystal clear rivers and oceans, full bellied polar bears, world peace … can’t you just feel the love!!!

Anyway, I’m off to work on the next flying pig I see…

  4. We’ve officially become the most stupid country on earth, the laughing stock of the world, the white trash hanging off the bottom of Asia. The real people of this country are ashamed of the subversion of what they thought was a robust democracy by an unrepresentative swill representing less than 12% of the electorate – the lunatic left that makes the Chinese Communist Party look like the New South Wales Right. The vengeance of the majority, when it eventually comes, will be brutal.

  5. Rick Bradford says:

‘The government is right — if the masses do not agree, it’s only because they don’t know what’s good for them. They are uninstructed. Even if they think they are happy, they are wrong, suffering from “false consciousness.” That means they need re-education and forced labour. A certain number may die; things occasionally get out of hand.’ – Saloth Sar, better known as Pol Pot.
