"Thanks to Peter "Batts" Garrett and his insulation fiasco, climate change has taken a back seat in the media (despite the fact that "tackling climate change" is the reason behind the incompetent insulation programme in the first place)."

In the Australian media, if it is about Climate Change, but not following the orthodoxy, it will always take a back seat. Here is the comment I made to Sydney's Telegraph for this silly article:

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/indepth/our-states-in-very-hot-water/story-fn4x9za1-1225804758688

in this section:

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/indepth/changing-climate

Because this submission's exclusion is almost certain, it will be also issued as an open letter.

With the Telegraph's online Climate Change page, one notes an almost uninterrupted acceptance of man-made climate change, with item after item either presenting acceptance or hysterical apocalyptic warnings. This is despite the Telegraph's online poll showing that most readers aren't buying it and despite the poll being rigged. Sceptics don't deny climate change; that is something that has always occurred naturally. What we challenge is that it is changing alarmingly and that mankind is the cause.

Left to the mainstream media, one would be unaware that warming science is fighting frantically to regain its credibility. The UN's Climate Change body, the IPCC, is fighting for its very survival; it's that bad.

When is the mainstream media actually going to start reporting? It is no wonder that people are turning instead to the Internet. The latter readers knew why Copenhagen would fail and know why Mexico won't have an ice-cube's chance in hell. Except for the occasional item with guts, buried in the Opinion section, the Telegraph's readers remain oblivious - seemingly as intended.

As I've said before, paraphrasing Hitchcock, we are protected by the enormity of (their) stupidity.

Admitting that entire AGW agenda is global socialist domination--rather bold. He must think it cannot be stopped.
